Keith Hofmann Bio

KEITH HOFMANN’S law practice is entirely dedicated to handling all forms of family law. Mr. Hofmann has been practicing law in central New Jersey since 2004. He has appeared before courts in Mercer, Middlesex, Burlington, Somerset, Hunterdon, Monmouth, and Ocean counties. Before opening his own practice, Mr. Hofmann worked for 7 years at a prominent Princeton law firm focusing on all aspects of family matters and 5 years with the Comcast Legal Response Center. Mr. Hofmann has successfully represented clients in both foreign and domestic adoption matters, as well as all nature of family matters from onset to trial. While in law school, he worked for the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office in Norristown, PA, investigating suspicious banking transactions linked to terrorism for the Eastern Joint Terrorism Task Force.

Mr. Hofmann is a volunteer panelist for the Mercer County Family Court’s Early Settlement Panel (ESP), during which independent, experienced family attorneys provide impartial income related recommendations to divorcing parties.

Mr. Hofmann is a member of the American Bar Association, Litigation Section; New Jersey Bar Association, Family Law Section; the Mercer County American Inn of Court; and the Mercer County Bar Association. As part of the New Jersey Bar, Mr. Hofmann provides pro bono representation to troubled youth in the juvenile court system, and family counsel to active duty military and veterans.

Mr. Hofmann has spoken before various professional organizations and Albert Einstein College on the topics of search and seizure, family law, and constitutional rights.

Mr. Hofmann resides in Mercer County, New Jersey, where he volunteers his time coaching his sons in Little League. He is also a guardian with Honor Flight of Southern New Jersey, which escorts veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the war memorials.

Mr. Hofmann holds a Juris Doctor from Villanova University School of Law where he graduated in 2004. While at Villanova, Mr. Hofmann was elected to the school’s Honor Board. He holds a B.S. in business administration from Bucknell University from which he was graduated in 2001.

Mr. Hofmann has recently been appointed as a child advocate for foster children in the Mercer and Burlington County Courts, also known as CASA.
